Name: Loki Nickname(s): Ki [ Pronounced: Key] Age: 5 Gender: Male Species: Clouded Leopard Orientation: Bisexual. Pride: None as of yet.
Height: 15 inches. Weight: 44 pounds. Appearance:
Loki, like his species, as it is fairly difficult to get far away from such standards, is not a great beast of a cat. He's a rather traditional clouded leopard, with almost a tawny colored coat, golden like, in some places. Along his smooth, short fur, there are black markings. They start out as more like spots, then seem to slowly stretch and evolve, before they appear to be more like smears, a light brown rather than black at their center, and the dark borders no longer make a full circle. The backs of both ears are the color of tar, with only a single white spot on each ear, a way to speak with others, without saying a word. In his rather short but powerful skull, his eyes are a blue green color with a band of amber around the color, large and extremely helpful when it comes to moving around in darker environments. Now, as far as height goes, he's not a big cat, but he's no tiny, delicate creature either. He has the muscle of someone who is used to using one's body to keep themselves balanced.
The muscles themselves are thrown like ropes around his shoulders, and flowing down his back and through his legs and chest. His tail, which is almost as long as he is, is muscular as well, proof that nothing is wasted in the world of tree walkers. Loki, isn't one to show you his full 'smile' for nothing, so it may take you quite a bit of quality time to see them, but the long canines are something to see that sit in his jaw. For such a small 'big cat', his teeth in proportion to his body size are marvels. His claws are long and used well and easily to help him find holds in trees and on unsteady ground, and occasionally as weapons.
As far as scars go he has his fair share. As far as other scars go, the only other major attention grabbing ones, would be the slight indention on his long tail, where it appears someone tried to take the tip of that long tail off, and failed. He learned a lesson that day, that's for sure. Another is on that is on his left ear, a nick out of the edge, another memento to the history that everyone survives, if they're lucky.

Personality:
Flaw, flaw, flaw, positive, negative, life is made up of these things, now isn't it? Every person is made up of these things, aren't they? Yes, yes they are. Every person has their short comings, and every person has their great abilities and positive things about them. That's the way we are made, that's the way we live, and that's sure as hell the way we die. We love to think ourselves perfect, and though we commit lies and other small acts of 'wrongness', we think ourselves oh so pretty and perfect. However, underneath we know the dirty, nasty, ugly truth. We're broken and shattered, held together by hope, spit, and glue. Inside, we're nothing more than children who hide their eyes from the truth, simply because it hurts to stare reality in the eyes and accept it. Those that do, well, we tend to call them cynical and harsh. In all honesty, they are perhaps more mature than anyone.
Loki, is just like everyone else, he prefers to keep his flaws on the inside, away from probing eyes and probing questions. The first thing you absolutely must know about Loki, is that he lies. Compulsively. If you were to ask him if the sky was blue, he'd probably lie to you, even if he were staring right up at the cloudless expanse of blue. He can't help it, at least, he doesn't think he can. He doesn't believe he can, therefore he can't. It's something he's struggled with for years, and it really is quite frustrating, though his other more, ah, dominate parts of his personality cover the irritation at himself, at least while in the public eye. Which is something he prefers to stay in. He likes the lime light, and his vanity shows no clearer than when he gets what he wants. He keeps his fur neat and nice, just in case he gets his moment in the spot light, or hell, talks to anyone. Better to appear stunning, rather than some ragged, unkempt vagabond.
A lying, charismatic, vain, intelligent jack ass, is what Loki really is, at his core. I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that he's 'secretly afraid to fall in love, and pushes others away, blah, blah, blah, add nausea, etc. ' No, Loki has no problem with love. Ki is happy to see others in love, and finds the ideals sweet and darling, and wishes the happiest of couples a good time and good luck. He's quite the protector of true love, and believes in it fully. He'd just rather it not find him. It's troublesome, and should he find it, it would mean that he was off the market, and well, flirting is something he enjoys, even if it's just to get a rise out of someone. He's argumentative, so it's all good, if they respond favorably or badly to his idiotic flirty attitude.
Now, under the surface, that no one other than those that do get to see, is a rather moody cat. He's irritable, preferring his own company half the time, and is prone to being snappy when he's in one of those moods, which thank fully, isn't too terribly often. When he does consider another one 'his', regardless of how they are his, he gets deeply possessive. He'll share, but not for often and only for short periods of time at a time. The idea of another having what is his is often disturbing and his temper takes the lead when he finally reaches the end of his chain when it come to it. After wards, he will pout, or sulk if you prefer. He's a bit of a spoiled brat about it. If offered power in any shape or form, well, he'll jump on it faster than you can blink. He enjoys the idea of power, and likes to try to sway others, he likes to think of it as 'practice', though for what most have no idea.
Control is also important to Loki. to lose control, or to be out of control, to have it taken away is a good way to unsettle him. Panic, anger, frustration and fear will run rampant. He's truly fearful of not knowing what' coming next, or what to expect, or not controlling a conversation or situation. This, ah, compulsive desire has spiraled out of control; growing from irritation at not having to, to full blown anxiety and panic attacks. He finds it embarrassing, and foolish to suffer from such things and often he won't discuss it should it happen. It's a sore point for him, and he tends to withdraw and become snappish and rather violent if pushed about it.
History: Since I only have the rough outline of his history, and I'm honestly lazy, I'll fill this in later. x|
