- The sloping lands of Sinai Karoo was an endless glory even throughout the dryer seasons. Its indigenous plant life bloomed freely, painting the hard-packed soil with vibrant yellows, blues, pinks and harsher purples. A field of green could be seen in the distance, leading over the massive hills and mountains that reached to the bright and sunny skies. It was a world all its own, beauty through heat and a winter wonderland of snow during the frosted seasons. It seemed far less of a "desert" or "savannah" and more of a blossoming field in certain areas. Large, massive paws implanted in the dry soil alongside the winding chasm in the grounds, filled up halfway with slightly-cleaned rain water. The "chasm" was a very useful mechanism the pride of Bakhu had been blessed with - keeping water from the rainy seasons for quick access all along the territory. Pristine-white form massively patrolled the "water hole", crimson eyes lowered with a stoic glaze.
- The massive behemoth patrolled across his given lands, making sure that all would realize he as the king - the Pharaoh. The Queen herself had most likely been out exploring perhaps - and that was why the pure-white behemoth needed second hands to guard and watch over her in the times that he himself could not. His massive paws created dents in the hard-packed soil, caving in the earth before slowly and gracefully continuing on. His massive size and rare variation of pelt made him seem a frightening thing - cold and uncaring stare as his mighty, snow-white mane twinged with a hint of beige framed his large face. Finally he came to a rest in the heat of day, fluidly driving his head lowly to the chasm's edge, allowing his large tongue lolling out and sinking into the water for a drink. Reflection of his brightened face grew distorted, vibrant, powerful crimson gaze remaining strong despite the violent ripples.

Rameses rolled over the terrain hard-packed terrain languidly. Large padded paws slapped against the earth, sending up little clouds of dust with each step. The hulking brute seemed to spare no effort at stealth or secrecy. Perhaps he felt that there was no need. It was more likely, however, that he just liked the attention.
His heavy head hung low as he came upon a clump of coloured flowers that reeked of urine. His maw gaped as he drew the scent inward to analyze it. He grunted and swung his head upward to gaze inside the territory so pungently marked. His jaw still hung slack and his lips curled upward in an expression that to anyone else would imply disgust. As every feline would know, however, it was just an expression of sensory investigation.
Akhenaten, he thought, lips finally curling into a feral smile. The great cat pushed himself into motion as he bounded across the pungent scent marker and into the claimed territory. He had to admit, Ten had found himself a unique little slice of paradise. Ramsey took the time to wonder what his brother's reaction would be when he sauntered up after months of aimless wandering. Pleasant surprise was the one he was going for. It was always nice to know you've been missed.
Eventually he caught scent and soon after sight of the great white behemoth he recognized as his brother drinking at the water's edge. A devilish grin claimed his face as he crouched down, muscles roiling beneath his light, tawny pelt. Then the monster sprang into action as he ran the short distance to the white lion and made to jump right in the middle of him.
"Akhenaten!" he bellowed in mid leap, hoping to startle the beast enough to make his pounce a success.

- The stoic, unpredictable crimson stare of the behemoth remained focused on the rippling water, stare of one addicted to the finer line of justice emanating through those reddened highlights. The water engulfed was surprisingly cooled, washing down inside his dry throat and chest with a chilly sensation. The strong current of his drinking sounded off perhaps an audible trickling of of water down his throat as if it had traveled down a hollow chasm. His eyes remained soft and blank, staring forth at his pristine reflection. He rose up fluidly then after having sated his thirst, gracefully giving his head a shake to rid of the dripping from his lower jaw. Droplets of water hurled about him just as pristine as his coat, few droplets of moisture contacting with his heated flesh as the sun bore down upon him.
- The day had started off so smoothly, leaving the snow-white judge to his own silence and peace. It was a very quiet day - perhaps far too quiet. His hackles remained raised the whole time he kept to himself, just waiting for something to go wrong. His suspicions would be considered far too exaggerated by others. But they would overlook one thing - Akhenaten really, really detested surprises. A large enough surprise could send him into a swift-moment's reflex that would have him mortally wound whatever it was that had surprised him. Even then as he practically knew something would go wrong, he remained unguarded for what would plague him soon enough. The Pharaoh decided to take another swallow of water "for the road", leaning over slowly and calmly with an ever-fluid grace. It was then when an abrupt distraction tore him away from his own inner utopia, sending his head up swiftly and jolting over his shoulder. Jaws wide with a certain amount of maddened threat as his name was yelled across the lands, crimson stare focusing on the one that bull-charged him now. The surprise had left him stilled, eyes widened with a bewildered agitation as the figure closed in on him. Too close. Akhenaten managed to wheel halfway around before hopefully resolve the over-excitement this one had before realizing that he wasn't going to slow down. A swift sight of a pouncing leap caught that crimson gaze, causing the large behemoth to real back with a strong dislike of what was sure to come. "Ramese --" His rough, serious tone was raised up with a certain urgency, halted by the swift blow to his upper side. The puce threw him off his feet, sending him down with a menacing crash that shook the ground where he lay. The dust rolled up in his fall's wake, leaving the large, angered behemoth to prop up his upper body as the rest of his weight lay on his lowered side. His head instantly threw violently to the one there, a look of agitation and strong displeasure. "Rameses!" He bellowed with a certain snarl hidden in his chest. His eyes shifted away for a split second, leaving sight of his bothersome brother as he slowly rose to his feet with heavy huffs of exerted air. He then turned to Rameses, eyes holding that same amount of displeasure. His voice slightly lowered however as he attempted to regain that excellent glory he had just been deprived of by his brother's action. "Rameses. I should have known. Why is it such a surprise to see you." He huffed with a certain authority of a judge. His stressing grew sharp on the word "surprise", hinting at his plain hate for such things. "To what to I owe this unfortunate visit?" He mumbled under his breath strongly, eyes remaining plastered on his brother's lightened face.

OOC:: Hey! (: Hope you don't mind me joining in, Nevermore said I could ^^;
BIC:: It hurt. It was simply putting her in pain. Growling and limping, Nala stopped herself and threw her hips down, plodding to a sitting position and brought her paw to her jaws, head slightly lowered to each the spot. It was wedged between her pads and was slowly digging into her skin further. Although the lands of her pride were breathtaking to whom loved a colorful area, she was hating the place. Later that day she had taken her liberty to run about, wanting to explore, but hours later this was her debt. A pair of two thorns embedded into her paw, perhaps from a time that she trampled one of the wildflowers in her wake. Growling again, she leaned her snout lips back and seemingly attacked her own paw. In truth she was trying to use her fangs and pry the thorns form her sensitive paw pads.
Now after trying four or five times she gave up with a heavy haste. "Screw this." Nala muttered before putting her paw down, feeling it twitching some as it touched the hard ground. Her nares slowly flexed before relaxing as she gazed about in silence, her rounded ears slowly flicking sideways, back and then frontal upon her skull once more. Slowly, she leaned her rear up, rubbing the crook of her skull against her fore paw some, hitting an itch she didn't really have before standing upright. With her tail forming half a U, she trotted onward, her shoulders rotating to each motion she would make, those balmy eyes looking along the terra before picking up a scent. Nala had come to know Akhenaten's scent, for one it was male which differed from any females. But this scent was clearly not his, but of some other male that she had never met before.
Flinching some she traced her tongue along her whiskers, very slowly tilting her head on her shoulder, looking much like a pup before grinning. "New boy? Hmm.. seems worthy of my sights." Nala said in a low voice before trotting onwards, the pain of the thorns now taking up the space at the back of her head. Like any lioness, she was always interested in any males that roamed closer, and even more so, into the territory of her leader. Even though Nala had yet to be mated for her first time, she was always eager to be in the presence of males for some silly reason. Not entirely for anything sexual, but simply because it was wired in her. Her jaws were slightly parted, letting brisk pants spill from her throat as she plodded onward, entering the heart of the territory.
There was a bellow, which she had been too far back to hear and clearly make out what it said, but it did make her faster on her feet, growing more curious. "Now if I'm right.. the lake shou-" "Rameses!" Her words were cut short to a sharp shout, slightly painted in a snarled vocal as she swung her head up, slightly leaning up as if trying to better see. A few more paw steps ahead and she saw the white lion fall to the ground, getting, apparently rammed in by another male, the unknown one. Nala blinked and held a soft grunt before stepping forward, getting closer to the scene, knowing she was in the territory, and currently safe, curiosity pooling over to the male that dared to topple the current king.
By now Nala was approximately a good 20 yards from the two males, her tail slowly flicking to and fro back behind her hocks. The female didn't have to move her head much to look between both males since they were still within the same angle of her eye site. Again she would licking her dry muzzle and step onward, closing in on them to another 12 yards before stopping and simply looking at them without a voice.

The hulking male gave a triumphant roar as his bulk crashed into his brother's side with considerable force and sent the white pharaoh to the hard packed dirt. He was well pleased both with his successful pounce and simply getting to see his brother once more. He stood over his brother, butting his head against the other's fondly as a rumbling purr rolled from his lips as he exhaled.
Before the white behemoth had a chance to climb back to his paws the black maned monster had draped over his form and began rolling over the other male playfully. What could he say, he missed his brother. He didn't care how displeased the white one seemed to be. He'd eventually be happy to see Rameses or he'd be driven crazy. Finally he rolled off his brother and instead scraped his back on the rough, sunbaked earth.
A coy, roguish grin was worn proudly as he looked up at the beast that rose to his paws indignantly. A laugh split the air as Akhenaten spoke and the big cat flipped back over onto his belly ad climbed to his own feet as well. "Yes, 'Ten, you should have known," he rumbled with good humor as he pressed his side up against his equally matched brother and ducked his head to nuzzle up under his chin. A rough pink tongue washed out to fondly groom the white face of his only sibling.
"I missed you, brother. My feet have taken me on many an adventure and I have seen great things. But I'm ready to settle down with my dearest brother to help him keep the peace in his pride." He gave a shrug of his heavy shoulders and a simple, honest smile as he looked on his brother."So who's the pretty little thing lookin' on us now? One of yours I'm guessing."

- The large behemoth had been consumed with the displeasure of the surprise placed before him. So much so that he had not noticed the female of his pride that had found herself in the little "reunion". Akhenaten clenched his teeth, eyes narrowing to suppress his discomfort of his brother in such close proximity. The snow-white judge was not one for much contact, a slow grumble rising out of his chest as Rameses came to nuzzle and lick him. The side of his face that braved the washing tongue rose up slightly with the wince of an eye, painting the look of disdain from a cub unwanting to be cleaned. He managed an almost-perfect stillness as he let his brother "indulge" himself, awaiting the moment he would pull away. "Must you be so close, Rameses?" His voice strained with an uncomfortableness, jaws tensing up each time the pink tongue ran across it. Finally he had paused to speak, allowing a deep sigh to exit the behemoth's chest and free himself from most of the violation of personal space.
- Another sigh - one of both an inner pity towards his brother and pity towards himself. He had expected the answer to his question would be something along those lines. "So which is it then, Rameses? Did you return because you "miss me", or because you've wandered yourself completely out, got yourself into trouble with other prides and currently have others hunting you down to the point where you need a stable home that just might be able to keep you breathing?" He asked with a hint of dull expectation. He had known what his brother was like - always coming to assume he got into trouble. Things almost never seemed so clear with him - simply "returning because he missed his brother" seemed too far a stretch for the prodigal wanderer. Akhenaten now faced his brother completely as his expression seemed to change with the subject, his own head tilting gracefully with expectant and subtle eagerness towards the sudden change. At last came the simply - but typical - question, sending the crimson eyes off into the distance. His senses at last came to pick up the female's slightly-familiar scent, eyes remaining stoic and regal of the Pharaoh's. He rather anxiously called to her in that ever-grace, raising his head and parting his powerful jaws. "Nala. Come greet the guest." He ordered simply with that calm authority. Having her out of his sight while listening in was not the wisest thing - seeing as the king detested surprises should she slip up and draw attention to herself. Perhaps she would do well to join in for his sake - perhaps get his brother's mind off of him. His attention finally returned to Rameses once more, rising up to his full, formidable height. "Very well, Rameses. Seeing as though you typically never stay in one place for long, how may I be sure that you will not simply wander off again?"
